Our 志愿者s are caring community members. People with an interest in giving their time, talent 和 uniqueness to make a positive impact. They are also people exploring career opportunities. Volunteering is one way to learn more about what you’re looking for in regards to your career. Our 志愿者s are people like you.
学生义工计划
Students must be at least 14 years old to apply for our 学生义工计划. The program offers an opportunity for young people to learn about healthcare careers, develop new skills 和 make new friends. If you're interested in earning community service hours for school, complete our student 志愿者 application.

Patient-Related Volunteer Opportunities
When you interact with patients 和 visitors, you enhance their experience with us. Some roles are limited to specific locations (i.e. Concord, Laconia, Franklin)

End-of-Life Companions: Provide comfort 和 company to patients* who are within 72 hours of death 和 have no family members or loved ones present at the bedside. Activities include reading aloud, singing or playing music softly, speaking gently 和 reassuringly, praying silently or out loud (depending on the patient’s faith tradition) 和/or spending time in comfortable silence.
- Pathfinder: Greet 和 escort patients 和 visitors to their destinations.
- Book Cart: Visit patient care units with our book cart to offer patients free books 和 magazines.
- Art Cart: Visit patients to invite participation in arts, crafts 和 娱乐活动.
- Art a la Cart: Visit patient care units with our cart of matted prints to offer for display 和 enjoyment.
- Bingo: Call 和 record numbers for 生活, televised patient bingo games. Plus, de生活r prizes to game winners.
- Radiation Oncology: Visit patients waiting for treatments 和 assist 工作人员 with clerical work.
- Chemotherapy: Visit patients receiving treatments 和 maintain patient 和 visitor snack bar.
- Emergency Department: Offer patients companionship 和 perform activities to help 工作人员 de生活r care.
- Patient Visitor: Take part in patient rounds 和 provide activities to enhance the comfort 和 well-being of patients.
- Family Surgical Waiting Area: Support surgical liaisons in keeping families informed of their loved ones' progress during surgery. Plus, provides escorts 和 information as needed.
- Pets Uplift People (PUP) therapeutic dog visits on selected patient care units.
- Cuddler: Support the work of our maternity nurses by providing extra sets of loving arms to hold 和 comfort babies experiencing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome symptoms. (There is a waiting list for this opportunity. If you want to be added to the waiting list, please complete an adult 志愿者 application.)
- Gift Shop: Support the activities of the Gift Shop.
- Hospitality Desk: Support the activities of the Hospitality Desk.

Non-Patient Related Volunteer Opportunities

- Volunteer Services Workroom: Prepare patient information packets, mailings 和 其他需要的项目.
- Gift Shop: Stock shelves, set up displays, make coffee, 和 inflates balloons.

How to Become a 皇冠app Volunteer
You must be at least 14 years of age to 志愿者 和 you must complete an application. Complete 和 submit application forms.
- Submitting working papers if you are under 16 years of age.
