Larry Poliquin

Larry Poloquin

Larry Poliquin was overcome with shock when he heard the word cancer. Challenged with digestive concerns, Larry saw a gastroenterologist and underwent a colonoscopy. The outcome was Stage 3 colon cancer.

His rapidly growing tumor required urgent treatment — both radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Today, Larry is thankful to be cancer-free and credits his Payson Center for Cancer Care doctors, phlebotomists and dietitians.

“Everybody at the Payson Center was excellent, especially Dr. Rowe and Dr. Divenuti. I was also impressed by the fact that every time I went in for treatment, everyone knew me by name and spent the time to connect with me personally.”

Paulette Adams

Paulette Adams

On Valentine’s Day, Paulette Adams took a tumble. Instead of falling in love that day, she slipped on the ice and fractured bone spurs.

Her physician at Concord Hospital Orthopaedics - Laconia saw her the next day and fitted Paulette with an orthopaedic boot. Paulette was thrilled with the timely, expert orthopaedic care she received. Today, she is preparing to joyfully walk down the aisle to marry her high school friend-turned-sweetheart.

Jeffrey Whitaker Cardiac Patient

Jeffrey Whitaker

When Dr. Jeffrey Whitaker learned that he had heart issues, his primary care physician sent him to Concord Hospital Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) for further tests. An interventional cardiologist performed a cardiac catheterization, discovering numerous blockages that would require open-heart surgery. After discussing the procedure with a CVI cardiothoracic surgeon, Jeffrey was confident his heart would be in good hands.

He underwent a triple bypass at Concord Hospital followed by 12 days of recovery. A short eight weeks later, Jeffrey, a chiropractor in Laconia, resumed caring for his own loyal patients.

“I am grateful for the outstanding care provided by an attentive team of
cardiac experts.”

Shirley Loranger

When Shirley Loranger’s primary care provider at Concord Hospital Primary Care – Franklin retired, she was referred to Dr. Te-Ana Harris as her new physician. The referral proved to be a perfect match. Dr. Harris has helped Shirley manage a few health concerns, all of which were addressed with exceptional care and personal attention.

Though physicians retire, Concord Hospital continues to attract quality providers to continue its mission of meeting the healthcare needs of individuals in the greater Lakes Region. Shirley’s relationship with Dr. Harris reflects that commitment.

“I cannot put into words how good Dr. Harris is to me. Not only does she make me feel comfortable during office visits, she also takes the time to explain things and answer my questions.”
